I know that this is an old driver, but it just popped up and will not install, showing an error message. I have run the MS fixes and still won't install. Any hints on a fix?

Thank you for your time.

Hi @Beard64

1. Download the Microsoft Updates Tool

How to get rid of HP USB Driver from Windows 11 Update Install HP USB drivers from the system manufacturer's Support page. If you're not experiencing any hardware issues, there's no need to install these driver updates. Run Show or Hide Updates troubleshooter to hide the driver update ...

Hello. While I would like to thank you for the possible answer, I ran into a snag. It seems that I can't download the program as I get a message that this would hurt my computer, so it won't let me. I tried to work around it and still tells me no. If you can suggest something else, that would be fine.

Dear sir,

As I mentioned before, I am not able to d/l the MS cab file as my system says it will harm my system. I did check and the driver is installed. However, how do I remove the driver still trying to install. I have tried to reset the services, and it is still there. It is getting annoying and don't know where to turn to.
