I recently upgraded my HP Pavilion G7 laptop (i.e. Notepad) OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I am now trying to get my laptop to print remotely to my HP Envy 7640 4-in-1 printer, which is hooked up to my PC, like prior to the installation. The error message that I am getting is "Driver unavailable". After multiple attempts, even after downloading the HP Setup and 'adding new device' (a.k.a. printer; which was also under current device, which I had identified as the printer before), the "Driver unavailable" message still occurs.
Given that both my laptop/notepad and printer are both HP, is there not a downloadable driver available that is compatible with Windows 10? Do I need to manually have a driver installed from a disc onto my laptop? HELP!
