Hello All,
I am attempting to install my HP Envy 7640. I noticed there is another "solved" forum post related to this issue. However, I have tried the recommendations from that forum and nothing has worked.
So far I have done the following:
1. Used the HP Scan Doctor. It identified the software I need to install the device. I go through the steps of downloading the software. I launch the installer and when it gets to the point to connecting a new device wirelessly. I recieve the following error:
2. I tried running the installer as an Administrator.
3. I checked the network setting and its Private. Additionally, I checked the Network Sharing Center and Network discovery is enabled and the box below is unchecked per the other forum. Also, File and Print sharing is enabled.
4. I have uninstalled the printer from the devices and printers and device manager and reinstalled.
5. I have disabled the firewall and attempted the above as well.
6. I attempted to install via Devices and Printers and shows driver is unavailable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
