Hi @Smit12,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To resolve the issue of resizing documents on your HP Smart Tank 525, you can try adjusting the print settings directly within the printer driver or software. Here are some steps you can take to fix this issue.

Check Print Settings in HP Smart App

  1. Open the HP Smart App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart App installed on your computer.
  2. Select the Printer: Choose your HP Smart Tank 525 printer.
  3. Adjust Print Settings:
    • Click on the printer settings or print preferences.
    • Look for an option like "Scale" or "Resize" under the print settings.
    • Adjust the scaling percentage to ensure the document prints at the correct size.

Adjust Print Settings in Printer Driver

  1. Open Print Dialog: When printing a document, open the print dialog from your company software.
  2. Select Printer: Choose your HP Smart Tank 525 printer.
  3. Properties/Preferences:
    • Click on "Properties" or "Preferences" to open the printer driver settings.
    • Navigate to the "Paper/Quality" or "Advanced" tab.
  4. Scaling/Resize Option:
    • Look for options like "Scale to Fit," "Custom Scale," or "Page Scaling."
    • Adjust the scaling percentage to match your desired print size.

Update Printer Firmware and Drivers

Ensure your printer firmware and drivers are up to date. Outdated firmware or drivers can sometimes cause issues with print settings.

  1. Go to HP Support Website: Visit the HP Support website.
  2. Find Your Printer Model: Search for HP Smart Tank 525.
  3. Download Updates: Download and install any available firmware and driver updates.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

HP provides a tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor that can help diagnose and fix printing issues.

  1. Download and Install: Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP Support website.
  2. Run the Tool: Open the tool and follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix any print settings issues.

Printer Control Panel

Check if there are any options available directly on the printer's control panel for resizing or scaling documents.

  1. Access Menu: Use the printer's control panel to access the menu.
  2. Navigate Settings: Look for print settings, document size, or scaling options.
  3. Adjust Settings: Adjust the settings as necessary.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi, there is no option to resize or scale. Tried through smart app, through devices and printers, and all other ways, there is literally no option of resizing.
