I have connected my printer to the wireless network from my iPhone using the HP Smart app.
When I try to add the printer using AirPrint from my Macbook, I can see and select my printer in the "add printer system menu",  but when I click add (after selecting my printer and selecting airprint) I see the following error:

Can someone help me resolve this?

@Dvdkamp, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

According to the printer specifications, this printer is AirPrint compatible.

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the MAC

On the printer control panel, press and hold the Resume/Cancel button  for about 10 seconds until the Power LED button blinks slow, and then release.

The Configuration and Network Configuration report prints.

Obtain the IP address and make sure the printer is connected to the same network as the MAC.

Perform a ping test to check the connectivity

  1. Obtain the IP address of the printer by clicking on the Wireless icon on the printer
  2. On the MAC Go to Spotlight > search for Network utility > select Ping tab > enter the IP address of the printer in the box
  3. Check the second box that says Send only > 10 pings
  4. Click on ping > Check the results at the end if any packets are lost
  5. Note: There should be 0% packet loss, share the results in your next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
