Trying to change the energy settings for a new HP 4201 printer (has a knob controller) connected with USB cable only.

The energy menu has a lock by the time (1 minute) and pressing down on the knob does not change the time. I tried tapping once and also tried holding down the knob.

 

I've installed all of the software from the HP site but there is no HP application I can use to change these settings.

And because it's not using a network connection (only USB) there's no web page I can use either.

 

Is there a way to change the energy settings with the knob?

Is there a default user and password set on the printer? I occasionally see a screen asking for a user name and password but we didn't set one up.
