I've somehow locked myself out of the ability to factory reset my printer. It was completely disconnected from the network, when I tried to reconnect from the printer's touchscreen, a notice popped up explaining that the feature was locked during set-up. So then I tried to factory reset to manually reinstall the connection. Similarly, the factory reset feature is unable to be accessed, with the same notice popping up. Is there a way to get around this or hard reset the printer so that it's usable again?

You can contact HP support or ask Microsoft's AI Copilot.
If you have the latest Windows 10 or 11 then you can run Microsoft's Copilot by entering it's name in the Windows search bar. Read this article about Copilot.

Support led me here. There is no contact option on the support page to speak with an actual human other than the forum. The virtual assistant's solutions weren't applicable because I am unable to access half of the required settings. I'm not using another AI.

The Microsoft Copilot, was well as Google and Bing, can provide information that the forum here is not allowed to provide. This is true for other OEM not just HP.
