I can no longer find the option to print in Color, Black and White, or Monochrome.

I was having a different issue printing from PDF X and downloaded updates to Windows and the HP Printer and now every application prints in just black and white.

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

Did not help.  I have downloaded the new HP Smart App.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled printer several times.  I have reconnected to wireless service.  Test pages print just fine but when I go to print out of a Microsoft product the printer has no option for me to select Color, Black & White or Grayscale.  Is there a setting somewhere that is over-riding the ability to change the printing criteria??

Please open any file and select print, click the printers list and review the list, you should see an additional queue of your printer, select it and try printing using the added print queue.

If you do not see any such, please follow the utility above again and describe the exact behavior, what steps is failed and with which icon or add a screenshot of the screen, to better understand its results.

No, the added que did not help & this morning my printer drivers were gone so I had to go through the whole set up again.  Wheninstalling the Full Feature drivers the process goes through Set 3 and then gives me an error that my browser isn't supported - my Google Chrome is up to date and I had Microsoft Edge up and running...what the update was trying to use I have no idea.

My initial issue is still not resolved - where are my Color options for printing?

This is what I currently have:

and this is what I had just a few days ago:

It seems to me that my system and printer are all up-to-date, but somewhere a setting is over-riding printing color for anything I want to print.
