Hi,

 

current the printer is connected  directly to another pc via usb cable running under windows 10 (this one is ok),

and my pc (windows xp) is connecting to that printer as network printer (this one is the problem - unable to install).

 

By the way I will try  your suggestion https://lubuntu.me/downloads/. Thanks.

Hi

 

In that case research File and Printer Sharing  in W10, you may be able to pass the documents thru the W10 PC.
