Product: HP DeskJet 2710e All-in-One Printer

Any guidance on how to get the printer driver loaded on an HP laptop.  I have followed ALL the suggested protocols on HP smart, from the web, to get this loaded and able to print from my laptop and mobile and am not able to.  I believe that this is a special case.  Four hours of my life I wont get back, needless to say I am hugely unimpressed with HP and am considering changing to Epson.  Any help and humour greatly appreciated

Forget about HP Smart, go to hp.com download the driver for your printer model and install it
