Hi @Don_Esch,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Paper Size and Settings

Ensure the print settings match the paper size loaded in the printer:

  • Open Printer Settings: On your computer, go to the printer settings in the application you are using (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Paper Size: Ensure that the paper size matches the size loaded in the printer (e.g., A4, Letter).
  • Margins: Check the margin settings in your document to ensure they are not too large, which could prevent full-page printing.

Print Layout Settings

Check the layout settings within your document:

  • Word Document: Go to the Page Layout or Layout tab and review the settings.
  • Excel Document: Check the Page Setup options under the Page Layout tab.

Update Printer Driver

Ensure you have the latest printer driver installed:

  • HP Support Page: Visit the HP Support page and download the latest driver for your HP Envy Photo 7855.
  • Install Driver: Follow the instructions to install the updated driver on your computer.

Use HP Smart App

Print the document using the HP Smart App to ensure proper page formatting:

  • Download HP Smart App: Ensure you have the HP Smart App installed on your device.
  • Open Document: Load the document in the HP Smart App.
  • Print: Select the print option and ensure the settings match the desired output.

Adjust Application Settings

Ensure the settings in Excel and Word are properly configured for full-page printing:

  • Microsoft Word:
    • Go to File > Print: Check the Print Preview to ensure the entire page is visible.
    • Page Setup: Verify the options under Page Setup are correctly configured for your document size.
  • Microsoft Excel:
    • Go to File > Print: Ensure the document fits within the print area in the Print Preview.
    • Page Layout: Adjust the Page Layout settings to fit the document on the page.

HP Print and Scan Doctor

Using the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool can help diagnose and fix issues:

  • Download and install: Follow instructions to install the tool.
  • Run diagnostics: Use the tool to detect and correct any printing problems.
