OfficeJet Pro 9020
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

A new HP OJP 9020 connected via ethernet cable and prints perfectly from Windows 10 and iPhone.  Having installed the web package on a Windows 7 machine everything checks out OK, including the HP Print and Scan Doctor and the test print from HPPSD prints fine.  However, when anything is printed through Windows (including a Test Page from the Control Panel) the print job momentarily appears in the print queue and then immediate disappears and a message pops up to indicate that the print job failed. Access to the printer's Embedded Web Page is fine and the scan and fax functions work as expected - just no printing!!

I'm convinced it's a driver issue as configuring the device to use a different (non-compatible) driver such as a Color Laserjet 2600 driver the printer responds (and prints the PS rubbish).  HP Support have been, thus far, no use at all.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Just a quick follow-up to this.  The problem turned out to be a corrupted user profile in Windows 7.  Creating a new user resolved the problem so the only consequence was having to transfer all the settings and data from the old user profile to the new one.
