Product: HP Envy 5030
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Hi, due to illness I've only recently installed my HP Envy 5030 brought back in 2018! I'm unable to print any documents such as Word, Excel or PDF. Photos and screen shots print fine. I'm using a MacBook Pro, operating system High Sierra version 10.13.6. and am connected by usb not wireless. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Peter

Is there any error message when you try to print?

Is there any antivirus/security software installed on the computer?

What happens when you try to use the preview app to print from?

 

Meanwhile, check the settings before you send the print job. Refer to the document HP Printers - Print Settings Guide (Mac) for help.

 

ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update software on Mac 

 

Try printing.
