Hi @himanspa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Are you printing for the first time using Mac os 13?

Or did it work before?

Perform the steps from Mac built-in driver, as this printer seems not compatible with MAC OS 13

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I have two computers attached to a MFP 179 fwg -  one was just upgraded to Ventura 13.3.1a - and will not work on the printer - however the 13.2.1 works - so there is an issue with  HP & the new 13.3.1a -  Is there a patch ?

I should add that I was on the phone with my corporate IT group AND had HP attempting to try and fix this - and after ~ 2 hours - the technician from HP gave up - indicated that it would be referred to " the cloud support team " and  logged out -

the very odd thing with the 13.3.1a  - is that with the HP app = we could see the printer - it was there as an online - " ready "   but it will not function

Hi @himanspa,

Thank you for your reply,

Let's try resetting the printer and check once

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
