HP OfficeJet Pro 9015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep getting a notification from HP that I need to update the firmware for  my

HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series

(My Printer is Product number: 1KR42A and Serial number: [personal info removed]).
When I click to do so, it goes through a series of things and mentions a separate installer has been launched. Eventually a pop-up screen comes up and asks to select the printer I wish to update and mine IS listed. However, it is grayed out and I am unable to check to box or continue on from that screen. I keep getting the notification and I am unable to update the firmware successfully. Would appreciate any help!!

Hi there,

Having the same problem on my end, unable to select the printer for the firmware update.

Here's a link to a videoclip showcasing the problem - https://drive.google.com/file/d/15OApILrnmUpnq1vGyuVtpEh178Y-XUwx/view?usp=sharing

I'm very disappointed that I'm unable to contact HP online directly on this, the virtual chat bot is of no use and the HP diagnostic tool doesn't seem to find any problem.
