Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

An exclamation point appears on the PC on the HP Support Assistant icon. I starts up and  HP Support Assistant finds a software update for the printer. I Select downloads “updates and downloads” the file, then the program looks for the printer and finds it. Than show me a window where I should select the printer indicated (printer correctly identified). I select update but nothing happens and the update is not proceed. I also tried to disable the firewall, but the problem persists. What can I do to proceed with the update?
