Deskjet 2636

When I print, my margins are all off. The left side has a very small margin. The top has a slightly larger margin. The right has an even larger margin than the top. The bottom has a very large margin compared to the other 3 sides, about 1/2 inch. Ive never had this problem before. Also, it does not give me the option to do borderless printing for my MacBook.

I cannot speak to how you adjust the margins in Mac OS.

I can perhaps explain enough about what the printer can do to answer the basic questions.

I believe, that like Windows, the margins are set / controlled in the software to create the document.  For example, if using Word, set the margins to no smaller than the largest margin required by the printer.

Images are impacted by their shape and size as compared to the shape and size of the Paper (Aspect Ratio).  The way an image sits on the paper when printed is impacted by the software used to view and submit the job to the printer.  For example, assuming media (kind of paper) and paper size are set, look for a way to select "centering" for both horizontal and vertical.   This won't shrink the margins beyond the printer hardware supports - it might at least produce a more pleasing print.

What else?

Little Deskjet printer lacks some of the features of more expensive printers.

This printer does not support Borderless.

Borderless PrintingNo

The printer requires a large margin on the bottom edge.

Print Margin Bottom (A4)12.7 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)3 mm
