My office laptop only allows me to use printers that are compatible with the HP Universal Print Driver. I don't see the 9025e on the list in support information, but that list hasn't been updated for a while.

 

Anyone know if the 9025e works with the HP Universal Print Driver?

The answer to your question would be no.

A 9025a printer supports the PCL 3 GUI print language:

The HP Universal Print Driver only supports printers which uses the PCL 5 or PCL XL print languages, not a 9025e printer:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04324001
