So I work for a K-12 school.... We apply printers per GPO per machine.....

It seems all the HP printers aren't working now, our Toshiba printers apply just fine - Using a universal printer driver... We have Universal printer drivers installed for both HP printers and Toshiba....

When I log in under my admin account all the GPOs and printers apply....... My standard users with no admin rights can't get these same printers though.

Thanks for any help/ideas...

Can you please clarify which UPD driver you are using. If newer V4 drivers, the driver needs to be present on the workstation as they will not be copied down from the server.

So we are using "HP Universal Printer PCL 6 (v7.1.0) - Type 3 - User mode drivers.

Our Toshiba drivers are "Toshiba Universal Printer 2 - Type 3- USer mode drivers.....

Not sure what we are missing but things used to work but haven't for awhile....
