I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e All-in-One Printer. Currently the control panel is locked and I do not have the user name or password. I would like to reset the device but I am unable to due to the control panel lock. How do I reset the device to factory settings and remove the user name and password?

Hi @Fix-My-Printer,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We need to perform a semi-full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
