I don’t own a computer that can download the driver software. All I have is my work laptop and IT has declined to let it access my home printer.

Are there any other options to update?

Hello @Xavier_68362648 ,
do you have a problem with the printer?
If not, then you don't need an update.

Kind Regards

Ah, fair, I should have started with the original problem. I send a print job to the printer, the application tells me it’s sent/printed. However, nothing prints and when I check the HP app it tells me some sort of error has occurred.

I did the hard reset of the printer, deleted the app and re-installed. Nothing has fixed the issue and based on help articles my understanding was that the next step was software updates.

Unfortunately, I am now stuck because I don’t have a computer to do the updates with.

@Xavier_68362648,

I need more information:

  1. What kind of computer (exact name of work laptop) is it?
  2. What operating system is installed?
  3. What is the exact printer name?
  4. How did you connect the printer to your work laptop?

Does the HP app have a name?
Is the error displayed? If so, upload a screenshot here.

Your IT department has refused to install your private printer on the work laptop!
Did I understand that correctly?

You have reset the printer to the factory settings. Which software did you uninstall and then reinstall?

I hope you can answer all my questions.

Kind Regards
