Yesterday I updated the Driver and Firmware for my Color LaserJet Pro M452dw.
The Driver version is now 19.3600, I'm using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6.
Before yesterday, in the print window, there used to be 2 tick boxes next to the # of copies field, one for Black and White and one for Two-sided...now only the tick box for Two-sided is there, the one for Black & White printing is gone.
Does anybody know what the bleep happened, I need to get that back cuz I do a lot of Black & White printing in addition to color.
I'll greatly appreciate any help anybody can provide.

***UPDATE***
OK, so I just figured something out...
I was looking at my printer's configuration page, really looking at it, examining each option/setting and discovered the connection was primarily wireless so looking further down the list I noticed the option/setting for USB Connection was “No”.
So I checked the USB cable goin to the printer & noticed it was a short cable with an extension & somehow it had gotten disconnected there.
I reattached them & the printer rebooted then the Configuration page had a “Yes” next to the USB Connection setting, then opened up the print window & somehow, someway the tick box for Black & White printing has reappeared.
Wow, what a mind bleep...who knew...that an accidentally disconnected USB cable would’ve led to the discovery of this obscure problem...and that this obscure problem even existed.
I mean c’mon, with the latest Driver version, if the printer’s not connected via USB & only wirelessly, the tick box for Black & White printing selection in the Print menu disappears...that is one strange, strange issue.
I hope somebody from HP’s Tech Support reads this and happens to forward this info to the proper department so they can fix it.

***UPDATE # 2***
Ok, so it wasn’t the disconnected USB cable after all.
Just so happened that when I reconnected the USB cable & it rebooted, the OS automatically created/added a new printer using the old Driver.
So after a bunch of trial & error, I discovered the old/original Driver, version 2.0, includes the tick box for Black & White printing but it lacks the ability to print certain Fonts.
Newest Driver, version 19.3600, does not include the tick box for Black & White printing, however, it was able to print a couple of Fonts that the old driver wouldn’t/couldn’t.
Somebody at HP Tech Support should definitely forward this info to whoever does the designing &/or coding/programming for the Drivers so that they can please create a patch/fix for this issue.
