HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Running MacOS 10.13 on 2010 MacBook Air. Printer is the Photosmart Plus B209a-m that I acquired at the same time as the MacBook Air so it's pretty old. It isn't a model that accepts AirPrint, evidently. It was printing OK via wireless connection but something has changed somewhere and I can no longer print to it. I've tried doing a new printer but during the printer creation I get message that it can't find the printer.  I can find the printer driver in the dropdown list and have tried the various "flavors" of printer connections (although I think I need to use the IP one), but to no avail.  I can connected to the printer's homepage by entering its IP address (192.168.1.11) directly into safari or chrome browsers and on one of the printer queue (Printers & Scanners General Tab See picture) dialog boxes there's a button to pull up the printer's home page and that works, but try as I might, I can't seem to make a printer connection which acknowledges the printer. Also attaching what the HP Printer Utility shows after I've defined the printer using its IP address. Any suggestions?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

Do you have any antivirus software installed on your Mac?

What's the make and model of your WiFi router?

Could you perform a ping test using the Mac Network Utility and let me know the results. Use the printer IP address to perform a ping test.
