Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently replaced old PC with a new HP desktop running windows 10.  Scanning/fax software works with my D110 color InkJet but not my 10-year-old LaserJet M1217mfw.  Error message is "Cannot delete output file." Tried manual installation per non-human assistant which says "follow the prompts." There are no prompts.  The entire C: drive list shows up but no prompts.  Help.

Hi,

Let's browse to C drive (Under This PC) and delete the M1130MFP_M1210MFP_Full_Solution folder, then download and install its latest software below:

The M1130MFP_M1210MFP_Full_solution folder will not delete because "folder or file is open in another program."  I cannot find any other program using this folder.

Please restart your computer and then try deleting the folder again.

feeling pretty inept a this point. Was able to delete old SW but could not download and install SW from the link that you provided.

Now getting "this app cannot run on your PC after downloading.  My PC is an HP>.
