HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer

I had been able to print both 5x7 and 4x6 photos and lately I am only able to print the 4x6 size photos.  After changing the setting for 5x7 the print comes out with ink strips on the back side of the photo and nothing on the front.  I would like help in finding how to do a factor reset and I might have changed some other setting in the printer.  I find it odd that the 4x6 photos are still printing perfectly and the 5x7 are a disaster.

Hi @Graywonder13,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Performing a factory reset on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e may help resolve the issues you're experiencing. Here are the steps to perform a factory reset on this printer model:

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Make sure the printer is idle and not printing any documents.
  3. On the printer control panel, touch the icon that looks like a gear or settings to open the Settings menu.
  4. Navigate to the "Service" or "Tools" option.
  5. Look for an option like "Restore Defaults," "Factory Reset," or "Clear All Settings."
  6. Confirm the action when prompted.

Keep in mind that the steps may vary slightly depending on your printer's firmware version. If you can't find the specific option in the menu, you may refer to your printer's manual or user guide for detailed instructions.

Performing a factory reset will revert all settings to their default values, which should help address any configuration issues you might have inadvertently changed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
