Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking for a newer HP LaserJet that supports the watermark capability but haven’t gotten anywhere with HP Sales, HP Support or anyone at HP.  I presently have a M234sdwe and it doesn’t do what I need so am looking for a better replacement laser.  HP has been the printer of choice, but lately not so much.  My next choice is either a Canon (the guys that built the original laser for Apple) or a Brother which are also built better than the recent HP contraptions and they also offer better support than HP does.  I’m open to suggestions before I bury my HP printer in a recycling bin.

Any Laserjet supported by either UPD or Smart UPD will print watermarks, it is a function of the driver not the printer.

This is interesting, my question is why then, didn’t HO include the watermark feature as installed by the “hp smart” driver?  I’ve installed using their “accepted” settings and in looking through the user manual they don’t even list this - ignorance or ?

Ok, that being said -where does one find this driver?  It’s not on the printer support page nor is the term UPD. ?
