Follow these steps:
Check Network Connectivity
- Ensure your Wi-Fi is working properly.
- Place the printer close to the Wi-Fi router to avoid signal issues.
- Restart your router and printer to refresh the connection.
Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi
Using the HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download and install HP Smart from HP's website.
- Open the app and click on Set up a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to Wi-Fi.
Using the Printer Control Panel
- On the printer, go to Wireless Settings → Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Confirm the connection. The Wi-Fi light should be solid blue.
Install the Printer on Windows 7
- Download the HP printer driver from HP’s official site.
- Run the setup file and follow the instructions.
- Select Wireless Connection when prompted.
- Complete the installation and restart your computer.
Test the Connection
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP 416 Printer → Set as default printer.
- Try printing a test page.
