we had an IT technician that set a admin password but did not save the password for anyone else. 

Is there more ways to try to reset the EWS password? 

 

I have booted in with the sequence "Home-Back-Home-Home"

and there i selected to option for full reset. 

 

But after i booted again i can see the settings is still there and i can´t access thru the web with default password. 

 

The model is a HP PageWide Managed MFP P57750 DW

I understand you are not able to access the EWS page of the printer. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
