What it the current Firmware for HP P1102W Laserjet printer.     My printer says

Firmware Datecode: 20130703

but the online Firmware version shows 20180302.    When I try to update it says I have the latest Drivers, but this doesn't seem to be correct based on the version that is online.

Any suggestions?

Carl

Welcome to HP support community.

20180302 is the latest firmware version.

You can download the firmware from this link:- Click here

You can also update the printer firmware from printer display.

Refer this HP document for the steps to update:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the info.

I finally got around to doing this.    I ran the software, and it said I was up to date.     Doesn't make sense, as I still show the Firmware date on the config as "20130703".     Is there something else I need to do to get this firmware to show the correct verson in the config summary?

If it says that your printer is up to date, then it does not require any firmware update.

I hope that helps.

Doesn't make sense that the Printer shows firmware from 2013 and there is a 2018 version available.       Should't the firmware listed in the Config match the latest version number that is available for that model?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
