Hi @RobinYMcKenzie,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is printing random pages with data after you send a print job, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check Print Queue:
- Go to Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select See what's printing. Cancel any stuck or unexpected print jobs.
2. Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
3. Check for Print Spooler Issues:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart. This can clear any stuck jobs.
4. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your printer. Uninstall the current driver first:
- Go to Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select Remove Device. Then reinstall the latest driver.
5. Check Printer Settings:
- Access the printer settings from the printer’s control panel or HP Smart app and ensure that no special print modes (like Test Page or Configuration Page) are enabled.
6. Check for Software Conflicts:
- If you have multiple printers installed, ensure that the correct printer is set as the default in your settings.
7. Print from Another Application:
- Try printing from a different application to see if the issue persists. If it only happens with specific applications, that could indicate a software issue.
8. Reset the Printer:
- If the problem continues, consider performing a factory reset on the printer. Refer to the printer manual for instructions on how to reset.
9. Check for Firmware Updates:
- Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can usually check for updates through the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
