HP OFFICEJET 8010 - I need plans to print to scale and when I print to scale it misses the left and right edges of the plan. Its ok if I don't need it correctly scaled as I can print to fit but its really annoying as I can't use the print for business purposes due to some of it missing. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can stop it happening? Not sure if there is a margin somewhere that I can change or somewhere I can remove left and right borders??? Any suggestions gratefully received, thanks

The printer is unaware of the issue and generally unaware of what it is printing.

What about the margins?

Much depends on the size of the plan actual size (unknown).

The format of the file (unknown) can make a difference.

For example, image files are more easily printed in borderless (and so eliminate margins).

Assuming the item fits on the shape and size of the paper at "actual" size, image printing is ideal.

Another piece of the puzzle is the software you are using to view and submit the job to the printer (unknown).

Some printers restrict the Media type (kind of paper) that can be used for Borderless printing.

For example, if Borderless won't print on Plain Paper, try using Brochure matte paper or photo paper.

Reminder:  Some options are printer model dependent!

What if the format is PDF and the document just won't print "actual" (or other size) on one sheet?

Adobe Reader DC can print a PDF file page "larger than life" in "Poster"
