Attempted to resolve scan issues (unable to scan) via Print and Scan Doctor which indicated a likely driver issue. Uninstalled, downloaded and re-installed updated version which appeared to work fine.
Undertook a print test which worked fine but still unable to scan. Noticed touch screen had ‘frozen’ so re-booted printer from power point (removed cord, waited 30 secs & then plugged back in).
Touch screen comes up blue in colour with a power button ‘icon’ in the centre and the error code C4EBA341 underneath it. Wireless icon is also flashing blue and ‘home’, ‘?’ & ‘return’ symbols are also flashing (white). Pressing the power button on printer initiates start-up which only gets 75% along the start-up bar when it freezes and returns to the flashing blue screen mode above.
Have worked through all power cord issues, re-booting router and PC without any success. In this state printer is no longer detected for automated diagnostics checks.
Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi VikkiS
Unfortunately it was a hardware issue and unable to be resolved. I had the printer for approximately 6 years which was a pretty good run. The reality is a lot of these devices these days have a limited shelf life...
I upgraded to a HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 for just under AUD$200.00 delivered to my door. I ordered from HP by phone and received a discount as well. Worth exploring.
