Hi,
Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Scan menu and select Uninstall HP Software.
Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:

Does the specific version detect your printer or not? what exact behavior is shown?
I actually tested and installed an HP Deskjet 2050 (J510) on my Mac with Big Sur just earlier today using this specific installation.
Could you please clarify the EXACT behavior, what exact error or behavior is shown? if possible to include a screenshot it would be great.
Does it detect your printer? please include as much details as possible to get a clear picture of any possible cause.

What happens when you open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners?
Can you see the printer listed there?
Click the plus sign and then select your printer, can you see the printer model listed within the Use drop-down menu or not? what exact options are listed in this menu?
What application are you printing from? can you see the printer listed there or not?
Try opening any other application such as Text Edit and print from there, may you see any difference then?

Hi, the printer is installed. No problem,. I had it for years. The problem is the update of my Mac os and the lack of driver for Big Sur. You say You have Big Sur. Where did You find your driver since it is not listed anywhere?

I have this exact same question, there are pretty old drivers, mine is populating a bunch of errors when trying to install saying that some Hp drivers will damage my computer. Ive followed the below mentioned recommendations and still have no luck:

I did try to follow you instructions. It did not work. Unistalled old drivers OK, but I could't find any new for Mac OS Big Sur. The error message, it looks like it installed generic HP Deskjet driver, but when tried print/scan, it failed.
The problem may be the transition from32bit to 64 bit Mac Os.
Where can I find new driver for my HP Deskjet 2050?
Thanks

I too have the same problem. I've reset everything, went through new setup procedures, and did everything that I can find online to do but nothing has worked.
I have the HP Deskjet 2050 J510 Series and I am using a MacBook Pro 13in 2016 on Mac OS Big Sur 11.1.
I have previously used this printer with no issues, but now that I pulled it out again since not using it for awhile, it does not print from the computer. I can use the scanner through the computer, I can print a test page from HP utility, but when I want to print something from the computer it says "HPDriverCore.framework will damage your computer," and sometimes says, "commandtohp.filter" will damage your computer." Even though I press "ok" it does nothing except says printer failed because of filter error.
Any other suggestion maybe?
