I can scan but not print

I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e can scan but not print, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

 

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure that the printer is turned on and there are no error messages on the display.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Verify that the ink cartridges are not empty and are properly installed. Low or empty cartridges can sometimes prevent printing.

Check Printer Queue:

  • On your computer, open the Printers & Scanners settings, select your printer, and see if there are any pending print jobs. Clear the print queue if needed.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, computer, and router. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Update Printer Drivers: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Install any available updates.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is correctly connected to your computer, either via USB or network. For network printers, confirm that the printer is connected to the correct WiFi network.

Printer Settings:

  • Open the printer properties on your computer and check if the printer is set as the default printer. Also, verify that the correct paper size and type are selected.

Run Printer Troubleshooter:

  • On Windows, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Printer, and run the troubleshooter.

Reset Printer:

  • As a last resort, try performing a factory reset on your printer. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
