HP printer 4650

Ive been having a lot of issues since I've gotten this computer, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, I've gone as far as completely resetting my laptop, but nothing works, it always goes back to monochrome when I print. I've been having to print from my phone to get prints in color and I've gone thru 2 black ink cartridges. Why does it keep doing this??

Hello Sandy,

I already did this process 3 months  ago and it still went back to monochrome. The problem seems to be the laptop itself, I have already had to mail it via fedex to hp to do repairs and it still has issues. What else can be done?
