Trying to login to my HP smart app to scan something and it just keeps spinning and won't let me login? 

I updated my Mac recently to Monterey 12.1 and don't see it on the OS list here, I wonder if that has something to do with it. It won't open to sign in or create an account. I did diagnostics, the printer is connected.

Hi,

Please click the Apple icon and then System Preferences.

 

Click on General and clarify which browser is currently set as default on your Mac.

 

Let’s also try changing the default browser and check if there is any difference then.

Thank you. that did at least allow the login screen to appear, but when I go to login it just brings me right back to the login screen again like I did not just enter my email and pw? lol  like on a loop not recognizing that I'm trying to login. 

 

that is some sort of barrier on my end surely ... another additional setting perhaps?

Hey thanks again Shlomi! Yes the last step to success was to take it off 'Private Browsing.'
