Have a DIRECT-26-HP DeskJet 2600 Series since a couple of years in our summerhouse. It has worked. Have now returned after six months and can not print.
It says: The printer is offline
I am asked: Enter the PIN code on the router label (usually 8 digits) Have no PIN code or router; uses the mobile hotspot to my laptop (which I did every time I used the printer before).
The alternative is: Connect with security key instead. Has no security key.
What should I do?

Try 12345678 as the password.

I have the same issue and I’ve tried the “12345678” password and it says it’s incorrect. And to try putting in the security key. When I’ve printed out my printer info page it still says that’s my password though

Please print the network configuration page to find the password: Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Information button ( ) at the same time
