macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I'm frustrated and annoyed...and have been for several months. I've tried a hundred times, but I can't connect my laptop to my printer (it used to work, but no more) I've tried all possible options - turn off, turn on, unplug, etc etc. I've re-installed the HP app several times, but it can never find my printer. And now, because the printer reconnects to Web Services every time I set it up again, it prints various pages and now I've used up all my 'free' pages for the month!

 

I'm completely fed up with HP and its Instant Ink option...and being unable to actually speak to someone or complain about it (the Virtual Assistant cannot solve my problems). 

 

I've now cancelled my Instant Ink 'membership' and will throw my printer in the rubbish bin in the very near future...I'm off to buy an Epson printer on special offer at my local shop!
