HP LaserJet 100 color MFP M175nw printer will not connect to wifi.  Took it to another location and it connected perfectly.  Using Windows 11 and now have it connected using USB cable. Love this printer and do not like the new ones available.  Works perfectly otherwise.  Can anyone offer a solution?  Have tried everything written on internet and even deleted and reinstalled drivers 3 times.  Thank you for any help.  (GeoPra**bleep**)

Hi @Geep2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Network Settings:

  • Verify that your Wi-Fi network is operational and can connect other devices to the internet.
  • Ensure that your wireless network is set to a 2.4 GHz band, as some older printers might not support 5 GHz.

Printer Wi-Fi Setup:

  • Use the printer's control panel to disconnect and then reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
  • Access the wireless setup wizard on the printer and re-enter your network name (SSID) and password.

Router Configuration:

  • Restart your router to refresh connections.
  • Ensure SSID broadcasting is enabled, as hidden networks may not connect automatically.

Check Signal Strength:

  • Ensure the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router with minimal obstacles.
  • Avoid placing the printer near devices or structures that could cause interference, like microwaves or metal walls.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer that might improve network compatibility or connectivity. Visit HP Support for download options.

Network Configuration Reset:

  • Reset your printer’s network settings to default and try setting up the connection again.

Check for IP Address Conflicts:

  • Ensure that there are no IP conflicts on the network. Assign a static IP address to the printer if necessary.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure your printer drivers are updated for compatibility with Windows 11, and seek additional network drivers if applicable.

Contact ISP:

  • Consult with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to ensure there are no configurations or settings on their end affecting the printer's connectivity.

Advanced Network Settings:

  • Access the printer’s embedded web server (EWS) by entering its IP address in a web browser, and verify that all network settings match those required by your network.

I hope this helps.
