HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e All-in-One Printer

I am thinking of purchasing an HP3001dw for company check printing.  Will the checks feed in number order from the tray?

Hi @TechnoShell

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

The HP LaserJet Pro 3001dw is capable printers, but for check printing specifically, there are some important considerations:

Check Feeding Method: The HP LaserJet Pro 3001dw typically feeds checks one at a time from the tray, which means they will come out in the order they are fed into the tray.

Manual Feeding: If you're using a check stock that has to be manually fed, you'll have to ensure that you feed them in the correct order each time.

Tray Settings: You may need to adjust your tray settings and software settings to ensure that the printer recognizes the size and orientation of the checks you're using.

Test Print: It’s a good idea to do a test print with a few checks to see how they feed and if they come out in the desired order.

Recommendations

  • Check Specifications: Always refer to the printer's manual or specifications for details on handling specific media like checks.
