I am currently running Windows XP, and contemplating switching to a refurbished PC running Windows 7. Will I have to get a new printer, or will my hp deskjet 6127 run on Windows 7? Are drivers available anywhere?
Thank you.

The Deskjet 990c driver is a good match for the Deskjet 6127. The document here has information on installing the proper driver in Windows 7. To get the driver you will go to Devices and Printers, Add a Printer, choose the correct port, then select Windows Update and wait a few minutes for the list to update.

The Deskjet 6127 is a nice printer - it may be getting a bit old but they are very reliable and have nice sized cartridges.
If you have any issues getting things set up be sure to come back to the forum.
