Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.

I understand that you have an HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One Printer - B211a. I read that while trying to print on an A5 size paper, an error appears saying 'paper mismatch'. You have selected the correct paper in the print settings and the error still appears. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.

I did some research and found that this printer model supports printing on A5 size paper. (Source: check "Paper-handling specifications" from this link).

Have you tried to print using another application and checked?

Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

  • Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.

If the issue persists then please perform the steps as described in detail from this HP article. These steps help in fixing paper mismatch errors.

I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Keep me posted. All the best! 🙂
