Driver Support:

  • HP does not provide a dedicated ARM64 driver for the 8710.
  • However, Windows 11 on ARM supports Universal Windows Drivers, and in most cases, the HP Smart App or Windows built-in drivers will allow basic printing and scanning functionality.

Recommended Setup Steps: Here's how to get your printer working:

Option 1: Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

  • Download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store: HP Smart
  • Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710.
  • This app supports printing, scanning, and managing printer settings.
  • Connect your printer via USB or ensure it's on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
