The first thing to check is whether your "decals" are of a size and made of a paper type that is supported by the printer.

The next check: 

If the paper size / type are supported,

If you can find a type that will work and the paper is not heavier than supported for "paper" (photo paper does not count and cannot be used for other than actual photo papers).

then

Alert the printer to the Paper Size / Type (Tray and Paper).

Use the Printer Control Panel (after the paper has been changed or the tray has been opened / closed)

OR
Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to adjust the Tray and Paper Settings.

Next,

If necessary, create a Custom Paper Size Form in Printing Preferences

Finally,

Use an appropriate software to create and then print the finished document / image file.

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Reminder:  If asked enter the printer’s PIN number – the default number is generally located on the back or inside the printer.

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Top Ribbon > Print Server Properties > Tab Forms

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Under Related Settings > Print server Properties > Tab Forms

Tab Paper / Quality > Custom setting box

After setting / creating your Custom Form in Printing Preferences,

Save the setup and Exit Printing Preferences.
