I would like to be able to remove the "Menu Disabled" at the printer, and access the advanced settings on the PC.
I intermittently have issues wifi printing - the printer/computer occasionally do not correctly communicate their states. If the printer is woken up after being recognized as offline by the Print Queue, the status cannot be updated. If the printer runs out of paper and gets restocked, the Print queue doesn't recognize it, and refreshing the print queue doesn't help. (HP Smart and Windows 10 Printers and Scanners do correctly relay the state of the printer) And whenever I try to go to troubleshoot I always get blocked by "Menu Disabled" at the printer, and "User and Password required" at the PC trying to access advanced settings, despite never locking settings or creating a user/password.
I can bypass the problem by removing and adding the printer again in devices in Windows 10, but it seems a bit excessive to do this every time the PC and printer have relationship problems.
I was hoping that the advanced settings would have a better, more effective queue reset than Windows 10, but I don't know because I've never been able to access it. At the least, I would at least like to get rid of the blocks on the printer and it's advanced settings.
Thanks in advance,
