Windows 10 updated - printer no longer works properly - no solutions found

Windows 10 updated onto my computer and I received a message to update my printer software... so I did through HP Assistant and the HP website.  It's not working properly.  Ink is full  but it's printing like it's empty.  Another message said I might need extra help because of it being Windows 10... but the HP website said there were no solutions.  😞   Please help!

Just to verify, are you using the c309a? Attempt to print a printer status report from the printer control panel to see if you are getting the same issue. SHould be under Settings and Reports.

What is c309a?  My printer is a Photosmart C410Series.  Ther printer status report has green, blue and yellow in the very center of the page and 2 areas with no color.

Hi Judi5,

First try cleaning the printhead from the tools section of the printer control panel. If after repeated cleans you still have no black but are sure you have ink you can try the following:

The printer shown is different than your but uses the same style of printhead.
