HP LaserJet 1320n
Microsoft Windows 11

I have the LaserJet 1320n with an additional paper tray.  When I installed the printer under Windows 11, the printer works great but I cannot select the paper tray when printing.  It prints from tray 3 by default and I can only print to tray 2 by opening tray 3.  As a potential soluction, I installed the generic HP driver, I can see (and select) the paper trays but receive an error message when I print a WordPerfect document that contains graphics:

PCL XL error

Subsystem: IMAGE

Error: IlegalAttributeValue

Operator: ReadImage

Positoin: 19

I love the printer and would love to be able to print from WordPerfect AND select paper trays.  TYIA

Same problem. It worked fine until recently, and then suddenly started behaving as you describe. Did you ever find a solution?

I was never able to find a solution and I have an IT department that is also stumped. Unfortunately I wound up giving it to a co-worker who doesn't need two drawers. I did purchase a brother laser printer that I am extremely happy with although it cost several hundred dollars more than my HP. Good luck
