Windows 11 H.P. Deskjet 2400D Driver

Hi there,

I'm helping a neighbour set up her new Windows 11 PC and she's keen on continuing to use her H.P. Deskjet 2400D printer. I downloaded and installed the HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows which found no issues but couldn't install the driver for it, rather it suggested that Windows 11 could install the driver automatically, sadly, that was not the case. I'm guessing a Windows 10 driver would work, but then again, I can't find a suitable Windows 10 driver either.

I appreciate that it's an old model, but any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Hello,

Please use the HP DeskJet D2400 series Printer Full Software and Drivers to install the printer.
Right-click on DJ_SF_NonNet_Full_Win_140_404-4.exe, then on Run as administrator, and then click Yes. Follow the instructions to install your printer.

Unfortunately, HP no longer provides drivers for this printer.
You can use the site below but scroll down to see DJ_SF_NonNet_Full_Win_140_404-4.exe, then click it to download the printer driver.
