HP Recommended

Hello, I recently upgraded to windows 11 and because I don't want to use the HP Smart app I downloaded HP Printer Assistant as provided by someone from this group. HP Smart isn't bad, it's just annoying that it can't  automatically detect if I'm using the document feeder or the scanner glass. Advanced setting also seem to be unavailable for my model printer (Officejet 4630) and I can't utilize an ink saving setting that I had using HP Printer Assistant. However it doesn't look like HP Printer Assistant can connect the printer through network or wired connection. I can however connect to HP Smart wirelessly. It's very odd, does anyone else have this problem? Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
