Hi All,

I'm having an issue when i want to try and add the HP X476DW to a W11 laptop.

HP Smart sees that the MFP is in the network and i can add the printer for scanning purposes, but when i want to add the MFP for printing i got redirected to the System Settings of Windows 11 and when i try to add the printer i got the notification that the driver is not available.

Things i already tried;

- Rebooted MFP.

- Rebooted Printer.

- Removed the software trough apps.

- Removed the software trough the old control panel and then Devices and Printers.

- Removed old drivers and installed the drivers from HP website for W11, even in the install software form HP i get an error message while installing.

Is there anybody that can help me figure this out?

I suggest you download the HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) and use that. Manually install using the add a printer wizard. I know that this printer works with 11 because I just had 2 of them on my bench repairing them and my desktop is Windows 11.
